Volker Brommann hosts an Amateur Dressage clinic Oct. 2-4, at the Starr Vaughn Equestrian Center in Elk Grove, just outside Sacramento. The event is sponsored by the California Dressage Society and
Brommann was born in Northern Germany, where he apprenticed in the German Equestrian Federation training program and went on to become a licensed Bereiter, F.N. in 1980, and a Pferdewirtschaftsmeister (known in the U.S. as Reitlehrer, F.N.) in 1988 under the guidelines of the GEF.

Bromman, who currently resides in Auburn, California, has worked closely over the years with Klaus Balkenhol (former coach of the German and the U.S. Dressage Team and Olympic medalist).

That same weekend, Charlotte Bredahl-Baker hosts a CDS Junior/Young Rider Clinic in Riverside, CA, Oct. 2-4 at Stern Training Stables.

Details for Brommann’s clinic can be found on the CDS website.

Looking ahead, on Jan. 23-24, 2015, the California Dressage Society hosts its annual Leadership Symposium and will be announcing two major presenters, each giving a lecture on Saturday and symposium on Sunday.
