By Staff Report May 1, 2011Classical Dressage Master Walter Zettl is teaming with Natural Horsemanship gurus Linda and Pat Parelli to produce an instructional piece for Dressage Training Online. Zettl is a longtime coach for the Parellis, and regularly conducts private dressage clinics at their Ocala facility, where session were taped for the Dressage Training Online website.
“Walter is a great bridge for us because he sees how closely our approach relates to the principles of truly classical dressage,” Linda Parelli said.
Zettl taught lessons and was taped for the Dressage Training Online segments with Linda and her horse West Point as well as with Canadian Para-Equestrian Team member Lauren Barwick, a four-star Parelli instructor who won Gold and Silver Medals in the Beijing Paralympics in 2008.
“Walter teaches how important relaxation and harmony are in dressage,” Linda said. “Trainers and riders will easily be able to see how gently and naturally Walter guides the development of the horses and riders.”
