Boots: Brown is the new black

More and more riders are looking for everyday riding boots with more style, color and texture. That’s why this fall brown is the new black, rugged soles are in and half chaps are more stylish than ever. The Horze Royal Equus jodhpur boot, in a beautiful, rustic dark brown with matching leather half chaps, is the perfect way to update your fall look. The jodhpur is a classic pull-on boot with modern, edgy styling, including a covered elastic ankle gusset, contrast stitching details and a light rugged tread on the sole. The combination makes the boot comfortable and practical for both riding and stable work. The half chaps, which are cut from the same high-quality oil pull-up leather and zip down the back, feature a fashionable badge detail on the front and are lined with a classic tartan plaid.

Jeans: Ariat Denim finally arrives in Southern California

Ariat's riding jeans are fashionable enough to wear around town, but comfy enough for the saddle.

Ariat riding jeans

If you were to peruse most women’s closets, among the shoes and handbags you’d find our true best friend in fashion: our favorite pair of jeans. Most equestrians spend the majority of their free time at the barn or thinking about the barn, so jeans are an essential part of our wardrobe. We were thrilled when Ariat launched a new and exciting line of denim with several options to choose from. There are a few key features that will make Ariat your new must-have jeans. Super soft and stretchy ring-spun cotton denim allows them to hug and flatter your curves while remaining comfortable all day. No-see pocket lines and slimming back pockets mean you look great from any angle. Comfortable inseams and a contoured waistband make the Ariat jeans practical on and off your horse. Finally, anchored belt loops and quality zippers and hardware are made for abuse, so roughing it around the barn is no problem. At a good price point and offered in sizes 25–32/34 (short, regular, long and extra long), these jeans are definitely worth checking out!

T-Shirts: Cowgirls for a Cause designs modern prints with a purpose

Cowgirls t-shirts come in crew- and v-neck.

Horsewomen are highly adept at combining a love for horses, a passion for helping a cause and an innate desire to design, buy and wear fabulous clothes! The women who founded Cowgirls for a Cause have done just that, launching an apparel line that drew from the lovely collections of photos from Tricia Meteer/Equinox Photo and the clean and stylish designs of Wanda Goldberg. A portion of the profits goes to various rescue facilities and to preserving America’s wild horses. The collection includes a variety of fitted 100% soft cotton v-neck and crew-neck T-shirts and tanks with hand-screened prints and fun inspirational words and phrases, such as “Courage,” “Brilliance,” “The air of heaven is that which blows between a horse’s ears” and “Speak your mind…but ride a fast horse.” All inks are water-based, non-toxic and environmentally friendly. These easy-to-wear pieces are fitted to the body and great for summer days at the barn, and they embrace the equestrian, fashionista and humanitarian in all of us!

and founder of this unique line of jewelry draws her inspiration from the idea her grandmother instilled in her as a young girl, that we all have hidden dreams and talents to be explored, lived and shared. The horseshoe, long a symbol of good fortune, is the perfect shape to embrace this idea and can now be worn as a daily reminder for us to be thankful for our lives and loves and to continue to dream big. The bracelets are available in brass, 18K white, yellow and rose-gold, sterling silver or platinum, and yellow and rose-gold vermeil. You can also customize your bracelet with a personalized engraving, by adding one or more stones of your choice. The bracelets are definitely conversation pieces and look elegant on their own or in multiples.
