USEF releases list of Olympic jumping contenders

The United States Equestrian Federation has released the list of riders that submitted applications for the U.S. show jumping team for the 2012 London Olympics.

Included on the list are West Coast riders Cara Anthony, Karl Cook, Saer Coulter, Lucy Davis, Rich Fellers, Duncan McFarlane and Will Simpson. (Ashlee Bond and Kirsten Coe recently relocated from California to the East Coast.) The list includes the highest number of young and West Coast riders of any in recent games.

The Olympic show jumping trails take place at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center in Wellington, Florida from March 21-24.
